Full 6-DOF Vehicle Dynamics

Our simulations predict the full six degree-of-freedom motion of the aircraft based on the vehicle inertial and aerodynamic properties.

Realistic Graphics

Our simulations are built on Unreal Engine 5, which include realistic world graphics.

Atmospheric Properties and Turbulence

Realistic atmospheric properties including von Karman gust and turbulence modeling provides a platform for Monte-Carlo simulations to test vehicle response, system reactions, and performance probabilities.

Landing Gear and Ground-Plane Interaction

We can include realistic landing-gear physics to simulate ground-plane interactions including take-off, landing, taxiing, and the dynamics of hard landings.

Real-Time Systems and Controls

Real-time controls, control laws, and stability-augmentation can be simulated, along with other systems including fuel burn, navigation instrumentation, and sources of error within those systems.

No Gimbal Lock

Our coordinate transformations use quaternions, which are about 10 times faster than Euler-angle formulations, and do not suffer from any gimbal lock. This allows the same coordinate transformations to be used regardless of vehicle orientation.
